Palm Valley West Boat Ramp Improvements

The scope of work shall include providing all labor, materials, equipment, and any other items necessary to construct a new concrete boat ramp, construct a new fixed wooden dock with a new floating dock and gangway, construct new sidewalk, replace/relocate the existing kayak launch, and construct improvements to the parking lot and maneuvering areas. The project site is at the existing kayak launch located on the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway, under and just north of the Palm Valley Bridge. The County shall obtain and provide to the successful Bidder permits from the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining and paying for any other permits that may be required. Bid Bond 5% St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor informalities, or award the bid/proposal which best serves the interests of St. Johns County. Construction of the project shall be substantially complete within one hundred thirty five (135) consecutive calendar days
