Description | 1. Remove (2) existing aluminum entrances 2. Install (2) new entrances per qualifications listed or approved equal: a) Doors: Oldcastle 3’0” x 7’0” wide style thermally broke aluminum doors with hardware as listed: i) Von duprin 99NL-OP 36” 313 with cylinder rim panics, 12” offset pulls, Select HD continuous geared hinges, 1” glazing and bottom surface weather stripping. b) Framing: Oldcastle Series 3000, 2” x 4 ½” thermally broke door frame & sidelight framing. Door frames to have HES 9600 surface mounted electric strikes and 4” x 1/2" factory standard threshold. c) Glazing: 1” clear tempered insulated units. d) Closers: Stanley magic force automatic openers with (2) hard wired push pads 3. Contractor is to reuse the existing wiring to openers & push pads. 4. Door 1 goes from outside to an entry way. The opening is approximately 71”W x 86”H. The door is approximately 36” and each window is approximately 14”. It is the responsibility of the contractor to verify the door and frame dimensions prior to ordering any materials. 5. Door 2 is from the entry way to the lobby. The opening is approximately 75.5” W x 96” H and each window is approximately 18”. Residents can buzz people in remotely at this door. It is the responsibility of the contractor to verify the door, window, and frame dimensions prior to ordering any materials. 6. The contractor is responsible for the disposal of all existing doors and appurtenances. 7. The contractor must provide hardware that is compatible with the existing key cylinders. A core key will be provided to switch the existing cylinder to the new hardware. 8. The contractor is responsible for any damage to the walls and ceilings around the doors to be remove and replaced. Any damage shall be repaired. 9. Security measures to protect residents and equipment are required. | ||||
