Description | Lincoln School Park Renovation 975492 This project includes general construction and renovation of a neighborhood park near downtown Eugene near the intersection of 12th Street and Madison Avenue The scope of work for this contract includes demolition, earthwork and grading, utility installation, including stormwater, electrical and potable water lines, flatwork construction, pedestrian lighting, playground area construction, fencing, site furniture installation, renovation of the existing basketball court surface, and planting and irrigation. There are two Contract Times on this Project as follows: (1) Complete all seed application (including related activities consisting of adjacent concrete improvements, irrigation, site preparation, finish grading, etc.) to be done under the Contract not later than October 10, 2023. (2) Complete all Work to be done under the Contract not later than April 15, 2024. The City may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures A Bid guaranty is not required for this project. Filing of a qualification questionnaire before bidding will not be required The City of Eugene in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 79 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000-4 and Tile 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department ofTransportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted program of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award. The City may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids or to waive any specification or requirement upon a finding of the City that it is in the public interest to do so.
