Gym Door Replacement Project

The Pennsylvania Highlands Community College will accept proposals for the replacement of two sets of doors in our main gymnasium. A scope of work with applicable product information will be supplied in another section of this bidding forum. Please be advised that if the bid total exceeds $25,000, the job must be priced using prevailing wage rate for Cambria County, Pennsylvania and all requirements such as certified payroll documents must be provided. Clarification deadline 12/1/2022 10:00 AM Demo and removal of existing doors and frames in main gymnasium. Each rough opening is 86.5" x 64" and houses a frame with two -7'0" x 2'6" doors. No exterior hardware is required. LCN 4040 x alum HCUSH heavy duty, surface mounted closers for each doo. Select SL1183HD x alum full mortised continuous hinges or equivalent. Two, 1-3/4" x 4-1/2" door frames to be provided. Aluminum frame is to be clear anodized. Exterior perimeter is to be fully caulked. Provide and install interior matching brake metal where required. Each pair of doors shall be weather protected between the doors. Interior hardware is Von Duprin concealed vertical rod panic. Match finish to existing US 28 finish. New aluminum thresholds will be provided, installed, and fully caulked to prevent water and air infiltration
