Description | As required by ORS 279C.370, Bidders must submit the Subcontractors Disclosure Form at or before 4:00 PM, August 16, 2022 for their bid to be declared responsive. Bids received after the specified date and time will not be opened. A contract will be awarded or the bids rejected within ten days after the bid opening. The proposed work will consist of one (1) schedule of itemized work: Includes: Mobilization and Site Preparation, Removal of well pump and abandonment of existing 10" x 410' deep well, followed by construction of one (1) new municipal production well, consisting of construction of a 16" x 400' (+/-) sanitary seal and filter pack borehole, 100' (+/-) of 8" pipe size stainless steel well screen with 300' (+/-) of 10-3/4", 0.250" wall, A-53B steel well casing, placement of 100' (+/-) artificial filter pack, well development, well sealing, well testing, site restoration and clean-up, documentation, video inspection, and submission of as-built records and well logs. The well shall be drilled using the cable-tool, mud rotary, dual tube rotary, or reverse circulation rotary method. All bidders must also submit proper and valid evidence of current registration with the Construction Contractors Board as well as licensing and bonding as an Oregon Water Well Contractor with their bid. Bidders must comply with all applicable sections of ORS 279C.800 to 279C.875 pertaining to the payment of prevailing wages and must also submit evidence of an approved drug testing policy as required by ORS 279C-505 before award will be made. All stated conditions contained within the Bidding Documents shall be in effect and full force throughout the duration of the CONTRACT. The City reserves the right to postpone award for up to 60 days, reject any bid not in compliance with the prescribed public bidding regulations, and reject or accept any bid that is deemed to serve the best interests of the City. |
