Description

Engineering firms for the design of Jalarmy Road and Lake Minneola Shores Roundabout, located in Groveland, Florida. The intersection is currently a 3-way stop. With the increased traffic flow, this configuration is causing traffic to back up in all directions. The County would like to build a roundabout. at this intersection that will provide safe traffic flows while providing a community accent feature. The planned roundabout will be a Single Lane Roundabout in which there will be some realignment of both Jalarmy Road and Lake Minneola Shores. The planned roundabout will be located outside of the existing intersection, on the North-West quadrant of the intersection, to avoid road closures and minimize the impact to the existing traffic flow.
