Description

The York County Landfill regularly receives, collects and stockpiles various concrete, masonry, and asphalt waste materials. Due to a daily increasing amount of materials being stockpiled the landfill supervisor has requested that a qualified professional be contracted to crush/hammer the materials into a crush and run product while removing all steel and rebar from the existing material for the County. According to Landfill records, the current tonnage of concrete/asphalt/masonry waste received at the landfill to date equals approximately 9,500 tons (this number is based on inbound weights across the scales and may include the weight of rebar and dirt mixed with the incoming loads). Landfill personnel has decided to retain the processed crush and run materials onsite for County use after crushing, therefore, the Bidder will not be responsible for haul services.
