Description

Brickpointing of camden city firehouses 1115 Kaighn Avenue (Squad 7) 2500 Morgan Boulevard (Engine 10) 905 N 27th Street (Engine 11) This is a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funded Project. City Council Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, Sixth and Market Streets, Camden, New Jersey. Bidders can log in to their registered account at this time for the bid results. Bid Bonds may be submitted electronically via a digital bond within the Bids&Tenders solicitation or uploaded in the document section of the solicitation. Paper bid bonds, certified checks or cashier's checks payable to the City of Camden may be mailed or dropped off in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and contract description on the outside to: Purchasing Agent C/O City Clerk. Regardless of the method of submission, bid bond must be received by Purchasing prior to the bid opening. The Bidder to whom the City of Camden proposes to award the Contract will be required to furnish Performance, Maintenance, and Payment Bonds and the necessary insurance certificates as prescribed in the specifications upon the execution of the Contract. Bidders must submit complete and detailed specifications of the product or service, which Bidder proposes to supply. The right to reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and to award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in accordance with applicable law is expressly reserved by the authority of the City Council of the City of Camden. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such licenses as required by State Statutes, and federal and local Laws and Regulations. The Bidder must produce current "Certificates of Registration" from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development for itself and each of its subcontractors. The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed and the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contracts as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.) and/or with the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141-3144, and 3146-3148) as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5, "Labor Standards Provisions Applicable to Contracts Covering Federally Financed and Assisted Construction"). Bidders are also required to comply with the requirements of Affirmative Action Regulation of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. (P.L.1975, c.127) and Affirmative Action Compliance NJAC 17:27-1 et seq.
