McKelvey Road Resurfacing - Phase II

St. Louis County Project No. AR-1718, Federal Project No. STP-5558(610), consists of the removal and replacement of deteriorated and/or damaged pavement, pavement surfacing and texturing, Superpave asphaltic concrete overlay, removal and replacement of sidewalk curb ramps, construction of new curbs, sidewalks, and retaining walls, construction of new storm sewers, replacement of guardrail, installation of traffic signal equipment, and other incidental items on McKelvey Road from Glenpark Drive to Creve Coeur Mill Road within St. Louis County. Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on a public works project shall provide a ten (10) hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. St. Louis County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. All questions must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on November 2, 2022 via e-mail to the Contract Administrator, Shandrika Combs, SCombs@stlouiscountymo.gov. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond in an amount equal to 5% of the total bid. All checks shall be made payable to "Treasurer, St. Louis County."
