Project is included City of College Station FY 2023 - 2027 CIP Page 278. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This project includes the rehabilitation of water and wastewater lines in the northside area, in the vicinity of Eisenhower Street, University Drive, Jane Street, and Nimitz Street. The sanitary sewer lines are in need of replacement due to an increase in service disruptions caused by deteriorating lines, shallow lines, and poor access to mains located near back lot lines. Design, bidding, and construction of College Heights Utility Rehabilitation project will include approximately, approximately 4,000 LF of 8-inch water distribution line, approximately 2,000 LF of 12-inch water distribution line, approximately 1,000 LF of 6-inch sanitary sewer collection line, and approximately 5,000 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer collection line. As of September 8, this project is currently in the FY 2021-2026 CIP. Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2024. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
