White Rocks Cut and Pile (Manually)

Wildland fire hazard reduction by manually cutting standing live trees utilizing chainsaws, piling, and covering piles. This task order requires the contractor to furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals. The project area totals approximately 504 acres. Work under this contract is located in the Whiterocks Canyon area of Uintah County approximately 30 miles west of Vernal, Utah. Elevations range from 5800 to 6800 feet within the project site. Slopes range from flat to greater than 50% with the majority of the project ranging from 20% to 50% slope. The treatment site consists of 3 units that has good road access. The treatment boundary will not be flagged and must be located by GPS.
