NAVFAC DB Grease Traps Install, B15 NSAP, PA

The following project includes the complete design and construction services, which will detail the required labor, materials, equipment and testing for the installation of 3 grease traps in the kitchen area in Building 15, at Naval Supply Activity, Philadelphia. This includes the demolition of an existing, unused grease trap, saw cutting the existing floor, rerouting of drain piping from each of the sinks, installation of new grease traps, and repairing of the floor to create a flush finish between the grease trap access and the existing floor. Grease traps are to be located in an area that is easily accessible to ensure serviceability. Mold and asbestos remediation may be required in the crawlspace area in order to make plumbing connections safely. This project is to take place in a fully functional kitchen. Special care must be taken to ensure that construction causes minimal disruptions to normal kitchen operations.
