Description

A. Work Included 1. To assure adequate planning and execution of the Work so that the Work is completed within the number of calendar days allowed in the Contract, and to assist the Architect in appraising the reasonableness of the proposed schedule and in evaluating progress of the Work, prepare and maintain the schedules and reports described in this Section. B. Related Work 1. Documents affecting work of this Section include, but are not necessarily limited to, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and Sections in Division 1 of these Specifications 2. Requirements for Progress Schedule: General Conditions; 3. Construction Period: Form of Agreement. This Security is Given as a Guarantee That the Bidder Will Enter Into a Contract With the Owner for the Construction of This Project, Furnish Satisfactory Labor and Materials, Maintenance and Performance Bonds and Insurance Certificates With Ten (10) Days After Notice of Award, and in the Event of Failure to Do So, Shall Pay to the Owner the Sum of Five Percent (5%) of Said Bid as Liquidated Damages. Prior to Signing the Contract, the Owner Will Require the Successful Bidder to Secure and Post a Performance Bond, a Statutory Bond and a Maintenance Bond, Each in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Sum for All Contracts Over $50,000.00. These Bonds Shall Be Issued by Surety Acceptable to the Owner and Made Payable to Prague Regional Memorial Hospital. No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid for a Period of Thirty (30) Days After the Bid Opening Date. Than Ninety-six (96) Hours Before the Time Set for Receiving B Ids as Well as Bids Received After the Time Set for Receipt of Bids Will Not Be Considered, and Will Be Returned Unopened. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Formalities or Minor Irregularities in Any Bid, and to Determine and Select the Lowest and Best Bid.
