Construction Project, CSS # 17593 - Replace and Relocate Air Compressor (VA024)

The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation to accomplish the following work which consist of but is not limited to: Removing a nonfunctioning Air Compressor (175psi, 120gal) located inside a mechanical room and relocating the new government furnished Air Compressor (175psi, 120gal) to a different location better suited for new lager Air Compressor. The new Air Compressor is lager in physical size than the current nonfunctioning Air Compressor and will not fit in same tight space as old Air Compressor. New Air Compressor will be located outside and have a concrete pad and shelter built to accommodate it. New equipment shall be Energy Star rated where applicable. The contractor shall field verify all dimensions and quantities prior to ordering material. Failure of the contractor to conduct a site visit and appreciate the complexity of the specifications herein shall not indemnify said contractor from contract obligations as stated.
