Snow Removal Equipment Acquisition

Project work included in the Snow Removal Equipment Acquisition generally consists of the acquisition will include the Base-Bid of a multi-purpose SRE with a Carrier vehicle with 22 Foot Power Reversible Snow Plow, Underbody Snow Plow and (20) twenty foot pintle eye tow behind broom and under Additive Bid Alternate 1 a Carrier vehicle with 22 Foot Power Reversible Snow Plow, Dump Body and Material Spreader and Additive Bid Alternate 2 a four-wheel drive front end loader with one standard 2.5 cubic yard bucket, a detachable snowblower, broom, forks and snow pusher (ramp hog). Equipment shall meet the requirements of FAA Advisory Circular AC 150/5220-20A, Guide Specifications for Airport Snow and Ice Control Equipment and Materials. In addition, references to SAE International Publication ARP 5548, Multi-Tasking Equipment (MTE) for Airfield Snow Removal can be found throughout this technical specification. SAE ARP 5548 can be found in Appendix A.
