Description

As of May 26, 2022 This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the specifications. The work generally consists of installation of speed humps, with regulatory signage and pavement striping at the locations indicated on the attached plans. Additionally, pavement markings shall be re-striped for the six (6) existing speed humps on Kenyon Avenue. Proposals must be accompanied by all items identified in the Contract Documents including, but not limited to, a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and a bid guarantee (Proposal Security) for not less than ten percent of the amount bid except that the guarantee need not exceed $20,000.00. Prospective bidders are hereby notified that an original and one CD or three (3) copies with signatures of the entire bid package must be submitted to the City. The City of Plainfield reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the City of Plainfield.
