Demolition of Former Riverdale Elementary School

Clayton County Public Schools Demolition of the Former Riverdale Elementary School located at 6630 Camp Street, Riverdale, GA 30296 ("the Project"). The proposed scope of work consists of but is not limited to: The complete demolition of the former Riverdale Elementary site per plans in preparation for the construction of a new facility. Included will be the disconnection of existing utilities, the demolition of all existing structures as well as the grading and stabilizing. Required permits are anticipated on or before December 15, 2022. All rights of way and easements anticipated for the Project have not been obtained. Required rights of way or easements are anticipated on or before December 15, 2022. The Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis by base bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Both a Performance and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. Any person or entity that has not become prequalified to submit a Bid on the Project shall not be permitted to submit a Bid on the Project and any Bid submitted by any person or entity that is not prequalified shall be returned unopened.
