Downtown Sidewalk Connections

**As of 07/29/22 this project was not awarded. Per owner, there are no plans to rebid at this time.** 21-269 Project consists of Grade, Concrete, Retaining Walls, Pedestrian Rails, and Asphalt. All contractors and DBE subcontractors must be pre-qualified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and possess a Certificate of Eligibility at the time of the bid opening. All other subcontractors must be prequalified when accepting subcontracts. Bids shall include a Bid Bond, payable to LPA, in amount not less than 5% of bid. The bidder shall certify that it has secured participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises ("DBE") in the amount of no less than THREE (3%) percent of the total value of this contract and that the DBE participation is in compliance with the requirements of 49 CFR 26 and the policies of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet pertaining to the DBE Program. The contractor must properly fill out the "Certification of Bid Proposal / DBE" form (included in this proposal) and return with the proposal as part of the bid. Project consists of removing the existing sidewalk and steps on the west side of main st., adding new Sidewalks on the east side of main st., replacing existing walks along portions of both sides of main St., and constructing retaining walls, steps, and vehicular entrances to accommodate new sidewalks.
