2020 Waterline Replacement Improvements

The main portion of the Work is the installation of potable water pipeline utilizing a horizontal directional drilling (HDD) methodology to replace existing waterlines at each of the project sites. The following list provides a general summary of the pipe lengths and diameters to be installed by HDD at each of the sites. All pipe installed by HDD will be C900 DR14 fusible PVC (FPVC). 1. Site 1 – 235 LF of 12-inch diameter. 2. Site 3 – 730 LF of 12-inch diameter. 3. Site 4 – 216 LF of 12-inch diameter and 850 LF of 12-inch diameter. 4. Site 5 – 305 LF of 8-inch diameter. 5. Site 6 – 293 LF of 12-inch diameter. 6. Site 7 – 1,283 LF of 12-inch diameter. 7. Site 9 – 369 LF of 8-inch diameter. Locations: 1. Site 1 – Colorado Avenue and 38th Street. 2. Site 3 – Spine Road and Wellington Road. 3. Site 4 – Sombrero Marsh (approximately between Swallow Lane and south of Arapahoe Road). 4. Site 5 – Twin Lakes Road and Idylwild Court. 5. Site 6 – Twin Lakes Road and Starboard Drive. 6. Site 7 – Apache Court and U.S. Hwy. 36. 7. Site 9 – City of Boulder Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) and Jay Road.
