Description

As of July 19, 2022, the project has been awarded to Innovation Landscape for $250,096.40. All necessary bid documents will be emailed at no cost. Hard copies are not available. The work consists of concrete curbing and flatwork, pavers, playground installation, amenities including basketball courts, shelters and site furniture, landscaping and other miscellaneous site work and construction for a complete project as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. All questions concerning this project or those concerning bidding requirements should be directed to Peggy Motta in writing to pmotta@napervilleparks.org. Questions will be received in writing only through 12:00PM, Friday, May 13, 2022. Requirements for Performance and Bid Bonds. The surety on the bond shall be a company that is licensed by the Department of Insurance authorizing it to execute surety bonds and the company shall have a financial strength rating of at least A- as rated by A.M. Best Company, Inc., Moodys Investors Service, Standard & Poors Corporation, or a similar rating agency. 3. If a bid is accepted, the Contractor will be required to file a written substance abuse prevention program with the Owner for the prevention of substance abuse among its employees prior to the commencement of the work. Said program shall be available to the general public. Award of Contract It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in June. The Park District reserves the right to reject any non-responsive or non-responsible Bids or to reject all bids and waive any informality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Park District. Substantial completion: 60 days from Notice to Proceed Final completion: 75 days from Notice to Proceed
