Description Site Location: Reedy Springs, 1 Reedy Springs Ln. Greenville, SC 29605, and Clear Springs, 023 -2025 E Georgia Rd. Simpsonville, SC 29681 Reedy Springs - Pond 1: 1. Vegetation maintained on embankments, dams, e-spillways, 3 to 5 ft. along the outside perimeter of the safety fence, down to and around the outlet location. 2. Remove all trash and woody debris and dispose of properly. 3. Installation of conical trash rack. 4. Fill the bottom of risers w/ concrete to the bottom invert of the outlet barrel, approx. 16" for pond #1, (per plan). 5. Installation of 2 inch orifice hood. Reedy Springs - Pond 4: 1. Vegetation maintained on embankments, dams, emergency spillways, 3 to 5 feet along the outside perimeter of the safety fence, down to and around the outlet location. 2. Remove all trash and woody debris and dispose of properly. 3. Installation of conical trash rack. 4. Fill the bottom of risers w/ concrete to the bottom invert of the outlet barrel, approx. 12” for pond #4, (per plan). 5. Installation of 3 inch orifice hood. 6. Sediment build-up needs removed at the north energy dissipater and be stabilized w/ riprap over underlayment. Clear Springs - Pond 1: 1. Cut and remove vegetation in ponds, on embankments, top of dams, emergency spillways, 3-5 feet along outside perimeter of safety fence, around yard inlets in close proximity of pond, down to and around pond outlet locations. 2. Install “Reversed Sloped Orifice” at riser structure per plans. 3. Remove or breach “Horseshoe Rip-Rap Check Dam” in front of riser structure. 4. Ensure forebay has minimal sediment build-up and that the water is able to flow thru the rip-rap check dam in the forebay berm. 5. Stabilize minor erosion on slopes, (2 places) and Deed over pond to HOA if possible. Clear Springs - Pond 2: 1. Cut and remove vegetation in ponds, on embankments, top of dams, emergency spillways, 3-5 feet along outside perimeter of safety fence, around yard inlets in close proximity of pond, down to and around pond outlet locations. 2. Install “Reversed Sloped Orifice” at riser structure per plans. 3. Remove or breach “Horseshoe Rip-Rap Check Dam” in front of riser structure. 4.
