Main Campus Centennial Engineering Center

Removal of several existing walls and a small kitchenette from an existing student commons area as well as the current director’s office and half of an existing computer lab. The area will be reclaimed as a larger computer lab space and the director will be relocated to the west portion of the existing computer lab. The new computer lab will be used as a classroom space as well. A small student conference room will be included in the new construction. The area of new construction is approximately 2,206 square feet. Existing wood doors will be used where possible and a new storefront system will be installed as the entry to the new lab and the small student conference room. Additional power and data will be installed in the existing floor for student tables. Power and data will also be installed in various wall locations for future monitors that will be wall hung. New lighting will be installed in all of the new spaces to allow for dimming during lectures. New flooring will be installed in the new director’s office, student conference room and the new computer lab. Minor adjustments to the existing sprinkler heads will be required to accommodate the new configuration.
