Description

This is a multi-phased occupied renovation project for Dabney Hall (1969). The priority for the first phase of renovation includes building systems/exhaust upgrades and repair of the building envelope. The project will create a master plan for renovations to be implemented floor-by-floor in phases. Project Budget $60,000,000 Qualifications Questionnaire, Instructions to Proposers, and other project information will be available on May 2, 2022 Minority business enterprises are encouraged to respond to this RFP. Construction Managers are required to partner with a minority business enterprise to mentor as part of their management team. The verifiable goal for minority business participation pursuant to N.C.G.S. 143-128.f. is set at not less than ten percent (10%) of the total value of the work, inclusive of all fees. Written guidelines specifying the actions that the Construction Manager-at-Risk must take to ensure a good faith effort in the recruitment and selection of minority businesses for participation in contracts awarded under this section are set forth in Appendix F and are herein incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein.
