| Description | Roofing Contractors for the Chemistry Building Roof Snow Guards. The Chemistry Building, located at the University of Connecticut (UConn), Storrs Campus, it has a brickveneered structure with a metal standing-seam roof. The main building is separated into three (3) distinct wings, Teaching, Research, and Administration, and includes an auditorium extension located to the southwest of the main building. There is active snow/ice slide safety issue which resulted in the imposed placement of temporary overhead protection at entrances and adjacent sidewalks. A complete evaluation, engineering, design, to prepare drawings and technical specifications is currently underway. The project will replace the standing-seam roof snow guard systems for the entire facility |
