Description

Notice is hereby given that the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad Commission for the Port of New Orleans (NOPB) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (Respondents) to provide transportation and treatment (Services) of untreated lumber (the Materials), from the NOPBs facility at 900 Central Avenue, Metairie, Louisiana 70001 (the Location). Official proposal documents can be downloaded from the NOPBs website, www.railnola.com, under the Procurement Page. PROPOSAL SUBMISSION: Proposals must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Department, New Orleans Public Belt Railroad, 4822 Tchoupitoulas Street, New Orleans, LA 70115, no later than 11:00 AM (CDT), Friday, September 22, 2023 (Proposal Submission Deadline), to be considered. Any proposal received after the Proposal Submission Deadline will not be considered. Respondents shall follow the instructions given in this Request for Proposals (RFP) in order to respond with a valid proposal for evaluation by the Evaluation Committee.
