Description | Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. a. Taunton High School Track and Field is located at 50 Williams Street in Taunton Massachusetts and is bound by Williams St. to the South, Taunton Heights to the Southwest, and Honerable Gordon M. Owen Riverway to the West. b. Work includes but is not limited to: 1. General contractor is responsible for obtaining the SWPPP and NPDES general construction permit. Contractor to provide an electronic copy of SWPPP and NPDES to the Engineer and Owner prior to Construction. 2. Install silt socks at all locations indicated on plan and at other locations as determined by engineer. Install other temporary and permanent erosion and sediment control measures as earthwork proceeds and as determined necessary by the engineer. 3. Construct inlet protection at all catch basins. 4. Install stabilized construction entrances and temporary access roads. Provide steel plates as necessary for curb/track crossing. 5. Provide temporary track protection and crossing. The contractor shall be responsible for the means and methods of safe track crossing and the use of any means necessary to protect the existing track asphalt and base/sub base. Any damage to the track and subsurface strata shall be repaired by the contractor at no additional cost to the owner and as approved by the engineer. 6. Inspect all disturbed areas on a daily basis. Following the daily inspection, install as required any and all temporary drainage, erosion, and sediment control practices as indicated, i.e., diversion channels, berms, drains, ditches, seed and mulch or other practices |
