Description | Email requests for the link to Admin@TriadEngMEP.com. Requests must include "Request for Jesse Wharton Elementary School Bid Documents Link" in the subject line and the Bidder's valid N.C. Contractor License number must be included in the request. Requests for links received after 5:00 pm Wednesday August 10, 2022 will not be acknowledged. All o fficial Bid Documents and addenda will be posted to the linked folder. Bidders will be responsible for checking the linked folder for updates up to the Bid Date. Questions regarding the bid should be directed in writing via email to Admin@TriadEngMEP.com or mailed to Triad Engineering Consultants, Inc at 2638 Willard Dairy Rd, Suite 100 High Point, NC 27265. Work in the project includes: Provide new electrical services for three modular buildings to be assembled at the school including support structure for gear, new MDP, new CT and meter base, new service feeder from CT to MDP and new feeders to panels in modular unit sections. Additionally provide fire alarm system for the buildings, data conduits from the existing underground conduits to new data points on new structures near the modular units, replace exterior egress lights at the exit doors on the ends of each building, replace batteries in interior exit and emergency lights, and extend new conduits for data and fire alarm components in the buildings. Connect grounding straps and power links (both furnished with the modular sections) to provide continuity between all sections. A 5% Bid Bond and 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required for this project. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 60 days. E-Verify Requirements: This project requires the awarded vendor to comply with the requirements of E-Verify. (U.S. law requiring companies to employ only individuals who may legally work in the United States - either U.S. citizens, or foreign citizens who have the necessary authorization.) Minority businesses are encouraged to submit bids for this project. The appropriate forms from the section entitled "Participation by Women and Minority Owned Businesses" must be submitted with each bid to show good faith efforts to obtain Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation. The Board of Education awards public contracts without regard to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age or handicapped condition as defined by North Carolina General Statutes, Section 168A-3. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented and to waive any informalities and irregularities. |
