Otisco Lake Intake Site Improvements

Work consists of constructing, complete with all equipment, accessories, and appurtenances, the following in accordance with the Bidding Documents heretofore prepared by Environmental Design and Research, Landscape Architecture, Engineering & Environmental Services, D.P.C. (EDR): 1. Install a new raw water intake pipe located downstream of the insertion vault, along a new alignment and tying into the existing 36-inch intake pipe near the entrance gate. 2. Provide new magnetic flow metering on the new 36-inch intake pipe. The 36-inch flowmeter will be located in a new underground vault. 3. Fill and abandon unused portions of the existing 36-inch intake pipe from the insertion vault to Pit 12. 4. Fill and abandon the air removal chamber and associated 24-inch piping. 5. Fill and abandon 42-inch and 36-inch piping located downstream of pit 14. This work is an alternate bid item.
