Build and Operate a Recreation and Aquatics Center

The Town of Westford is seeking information describing how a private or nonprofit entity would develop and operate a recreation and aquatics center in Westford. The facility should provide some or all the recreation components outlined in section II of this document. Locations in the community for the center are also detailed in section II. All respondents will have an opportunity to meet with Town representatives and explain the benefits of their recommended physical structure and site plan, operating practices, and programming plans. Respondents may also ask Town representatives questions at a public meeting or by email. The Town plans to use the responses to inform their ideas for a recreation and aquatics center and may include certain components in a future RFP(s). The contact person is Eric Heideman, Town of Westford, Assistant Town Manger All respondents are required to obtain the RFI. All questions should be emailed to Procurement at TMAA@westfordma.gov. All questions must be received by September 26, 2022 at 4:00 pm. If there is a need to clarify a section in the RFI, the Town will forward addenda to all respondents of record. It shall be the responsibility of all Firms to ensure the receipt of any addenda issued. All responses received by the Town after the deadline for submission of responses will not be opened and be returned upon presentation of a signed request and proof of representation to the Purchasing Department. All responses received at or prior to the deadline for submission for consideration by the Town will remain public records of the Town, regardless of confidentiality statements included, and will not be returned.
