Power Sweep Asphalt Areas

Power sweep designated areas outlined in yellow on the aerial photograph provided herein as Attachment A to include entrance road off of Route 4 up to weigh station, through scales following route to transfer/tipping bay, and looping back out to start of weigh station. Walk the entire designated area with blowers to blow all debris from around curbs and any other permanent structures or objects. Blow away all trash from around or above objects for collection by the sweeper. Power sweep to remove all gravel, sand, dirt, cigarette butts, bottles, cans, and any other trash. Provide water on Contractor’s truck to assist with dust suppression as required. Power sweep accessible areas to include around any obstruction such as vehicles, equipment, etc. Remove and dump debris onsite at designated area or, at the Contractor’s discretion, offsite. J. Contact the Project Manager to mutually agree upon a date to provide services in the event of inclement weather. In the event materials on the ground are too bulky for the Contractor’s normal equipment or require special handling, the Contractor shall sweep around the material and contact the Project Manager during the next available business hours. Calvert County Government shall determine whether the Contractor should remove the materials.
