Description

The contract will be for the hauling of liquid sludge from Brownstown Wastewater Treatment Plant (BWTP) in West Earl Township at 161 Locust Street, Leola to the Susquehanna Water Pollution Control Facility(SWPCF) located in Manor Township at 4160 Blue Rock Road, Washington Boro, PA. Contract will begin after the ownership of the Brownstown Wastewater Treatment Plant is conveyed to the Lancaster Area Sewer Authority later in the month of October. It is estimated that the quantity of sludge to be hauled is 20,000 gallons per week more-or-less. The contract term will be for one year with two- 1 year extensions if mutually agreeable. Compensation will be based on a per-gallon basis delivered the SWPCF.
