Aluminized wire is required Vendor is to specify in their proposal if there are material delays Post are to be set with a wet mix concrete There will be minimal to no clearing responsibility for the awarded contractor Lexington County Surveyors will stake the fence location Black PVC fence is required to have 9 gauge core/8 gauge finish 40 weight pipe - SS40 or scheduled 40 will suffice Brace truss and angle braces should be pipe No barbed wire is needed or requested No top rail 3 inch terminal post 2.5 inch line post Ties and hog rings should be steel No preference in the hinges Mix concrete should be a minimum of 3000psi Offsite Storage can be made available for materials Payment is made net 30 from the last day of the month of an accepted and undisputed invoice Invoices are to be billed monthly for work completed Invoices are to be emailed to the Point of Contact with Public Works; Public Works will then confirm completed work vs invoice and submit for payment SCOPE OF WORK Fencing Specs: - Class 2B black PVC coated fabric 6' high = BLUE on plan sheet - Aluminized 9 gauge 6' tall wire fabric = RED on plan sheet - Minimum 3" terminal posts - Minimum 2.5" line posts - Tension wire on top and bottom of fence - Brace truss and angle braces were needed Fencing Quantities: - Coated fencing = 445 LF - Coated Gate = 24' (Double Gate) at Front Power line R/W crossing - Standard Fencing = 5105 LF - Standard Gate = 24' (Double Gate) at Rear Power line R/W crossing - Standard Gate = 30' (Double Gate) at Main entrance Special Instructions: - Fence will be set 7.5' off of property line - Property lines will be staked by County surveyor - All clearing and grubbing will be completed by County personnel prior to start date - All post must be set in wet concrete, avoid pouring dry concrete mix in postholes
