The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following: The City of Clyde, Office of the City Manager, 222 North Main Street, Clyde, Ohio 43410 or Richland Engineering Limited, A WallacePancher Group Company, 29 North Park Street, Mansfield, Ohio 44902. The City of Clyde will not accept any/or consider any bid as an official bid unless said bidder has picked up and paid for a complete bid package from Richland Engineering Limited. In order to bid this project you must be a plan holder of record with Richland Engineering Limited. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said Surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. No pre-bid meeting is planned for the project. It is advised that all bidders visit the project site. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Sandusky County and the City of Clyde as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Division, 614-644-2239.
