Description | **As of June 22, 2023, project was awarded to Johnson Trucking & Blacktopping, Inc, awarded amount is $72,192.12.** The project consists of crack routing and sealing, sealing HMA surfaces, and paint pavement markings General Description of Work: The project location is at the Farmington Central CUSD #265 property located at 212 North Lightfoot Road, Farmington, IL 61531. Work consists of crack routing and filling, sealing HMA surfaces, and paint pavement markings. The project consists of 3192 pounds of crack filling sealant, 33,432 SQ YD of pavement sealing, and 24,876 feet of paint pavement marking. All questions shall be directed to Shane Larson at slarson@hutchisoneng.com and received no later than Friday, April 28, 2023 at 4:00 PM. All questions shall be answered by issuing addenda no later than Monday, May 1, 2023 at 4:00 PM. s. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check payable to the Owner or a satisfactory Bid bond executed by the Bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to not less five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price as a guarantee that the Bidder will within fifteen (15) days after the date of the award of a contract execute an Agreement and file bonds and insurance as required by the bidding documents if the Bid is accepted. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute and file an Agreement, Bonds, and Insurance as required in the Bid Documents, the amount of the security submitted with the Bid shall be forfeited. Holding of Bids: No Bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of Bids without the consent of the Owner, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of closing Bids. Prevailing Wage: The contractor to whom this award shall be made pursuant to this procurement shall be subject to all applicable to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Illinois acts commonly known as the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (IL Rev. Stat. Ch. 48, Secs. 2201-2207). The submissions of the proposal or bid by the Offerer in response to the Advertisement for Bids constitutes an acknowledgment of and an agreement by the Offerer that it understands and will comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Preference Act. Bonds: A Contract Bond for payment and performance is required in connection with this procurement. The bond shall specifically provide that the Principal must pay all sums of money due or to become due for any labor in accordance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (IL Rev. Stat. Ch. 48, Sec. 39(s) -1-12). Award of Contract: The Owner reserves the right to reject any Bid for failure to comply with all requirements of this notice or any of the Bidding Documents, however, it may waive any minor defects or informalities at its discretion. The Owner further reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to award a contract which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Owner. |
