Rayburn House Office Building SCIF

The Rayburn House Office Building has space located on the Ground level that includes the demolition of existing basement space to be converted into a SCIF. The current area does not meet the ICD security standards provided by the CIA or USCP/Physical Security Division Requirements. The spaces fails to meet the physical and technical needs (staff can hear conversations through the existing walls inside and outside the SCIF) and HVVAC needs (system is inadequate to keep the room cool during large meetings). Provide a SCIF space for the AOC to include demolition and the removal of an existing double door, infill of existing CMU wall to create a single door secured opening, a new CMU dividing wall separating the space into two areas and the construction of a communications closet. New ACT and gyp-board ceilings, carpet, furring and soundproofing to all walls, new lighting, new doors, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications and data outlets.
