Description

Berlin McKinney Elementary School The fencing project is in front of the main office area of Berlin McKinney Elementary School. The following is a rough estimate of the work needed. Final measurements, etc. are the sole responsibility of the contractor/vendor. New, bronze aluminum fencing panels with 4 rails, 8 foot in length (19/20 pickets per panel), will be installed on the top of the existing concrete wall in front of the school. Holes must be drilled into the concrete to attach posts. The length of the fence is @ 240 feet. A gate of @ 5 foot in width must be installed at the top of the steps leading to the school. This gate must have a locking mechanism, so that it can be locked either open or closed. Prep for the fencing will be necessary. This will include: Filing the existing holes in the wall with cement or a weather-proof grout. These holes were caused by the removal of the old fencing. If the old post holes can be incorporated into the new fence, that is acceptable, with the new holes being cut around the old fencing posts. Power washing the concrete wall after construction is complete. Clean up is the responsibility of the contractor. All debris, dirt, excess parts, etc., must be disposed of properly.
