Itron Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) Water Monitoring Equipment

Sarasota County intends to renew a sole source procurement with Itron, Inc. for the provision of Itron water monitoring equipment, including automatic meter reading AMR/AMI modules & equipment for a period of one year. In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar products and/or services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation. Description: Per correspondence from Itron dated June 10, 2022, no distributor or other entity is authorized, by Itron, to sell Itron's Mobile Collector 3(MC3), Mobile Collector 3Lite (MC3 Lite), FC300's, and AMR/AMI modules (100W+ and Riva) - Itron's latest generation of automatic meter reading (AMR) devices & AMR/AMI modules. Any vendor who believes they can provide the goods and/or services described in the attached sole source documentation should respond to this ISS by the date specified.
