Description | The Project consists of: Exterior door replacement at 7 buildings at Roger Conant Elderly Housing development, including storm doors, where shown, asbestos abatement, entryway repairs, painting, and all related work. The work is estimated to cost $160,500.00. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of General Building Construction. Filed sub-bids forthe trades listed below will be received until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2023, and opened forthwith. Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified forthe trades listed below and bidders must include a current DCAMM SubBidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder's Update Statement. SUBTRADES: Section 09.91.00 Painting This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). All bids shall be prepared and submitted online and received no later than the date & time specified above. General bids and sub bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Beverly Housing Authority. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation goal reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% percent of the final contract price including accepted alternates.
