Service to Climax East Central Regional Water District

The Work is comprised of three (3) Contracts each with two (2) Base Bids: Contract No. 1 - Materials and Labor, Contract No. 2 - Pipeline Materials, and Contract No. 3 - Miscellaneous Materials and Labor. Contract No. 1 or a combination of Contract No. 2 and Contract No. 3 may be awarded. Note: If bidding Contract No. 1, Contractor must bid both Base Bids. Only one of the Base Bids will be awarded for each Contract that is selected. The Work is generally described as follows: Contract No. 1: Materials and Labor: 1. Base Bid No. 1 - 8-inch Transmission Pipeline Construction - Reservoir 1 to Climax Connection: Construction of rural water pipelines consisting of furnishing and installing the following approximate quantities: 100 feet of 2-inch DR 11 IPS poly pipeline, 200 feet of 6-inch DR 13.5 DIPS poly pipeline, 600 feet of 8-inch DR 13.5 DIPS poly pipeline, the option of 44,800 feet of 8-inch PVC SDR 26 CL 160 IPS pipeline OR 44,800 feet of 8-inch DR 17 IPS poly pipeline, 4,325 feet of 8-inch DR 13.5 IPS poly directional bores, 3,625 feet of 8-inch DR 11 IPS poly directional bores, two (2) 8-inch poly 45-degree bends, four (4) 8-inch poly 90-degree bends, one (1) 8-inch poly tee, two (2) 8-inch by 2-inch poly saddles, two (2) tie-ins to existing system, ten (10) gate valves ranging in size from 2-inch to 8-inch, one (1) 1-inch flush/air blow off valve, one (1) prefabricated vault construction, and all associated fittings and appurtenances, restoration, flushing and testing, signage, seeding, and gravel. 2. Base Bid No. 1 - 12-inch POLY Transmission Pipeline Construction - Reservoir 1 to Climax Connection: Acquisition and delivery to construction site of rural water pipelines consisting the following approximate quantities: 100 feet of 2-inch DR 11 IPS poly pipeline, 200 feet of 6-inch DR 13.5 DIPS poly pipeline, 600 feet of 8-inch DR 13.5 DIPS poly pipeline, 44,800 feet of 12-inch DR 17 IPS poly pipeline, 4,325 feet of 12-inch DR 13.5 IPS poly pipeline, and 3,625 feet of 12-inch DR 11 IPS poly pipeline. 2. Base Bid No. 1 - Labor to Fuse Pipe and Bore - Reservoir 1 to Climax Connection: Construction of rural water pipelines consisting of the following work and quantities: fusing and stringing of 100 feet of 2-inch DR 11 IPS poly pipeline, 200 feet of 6-inch DR 13.5 DIPS poly pipeline, 600 feet of 8-inch DR 13.5 DIPS poly pipeline, and 44,800 feet of 12-inch DR 17 IPS poly pipeline; fusing and installation of 4,325 feet of 12-inch DR 13.5 IPS poly directional bores and 3,625 feet of 12-inch DR 11 IPS poly directional bores. All Materials will be furnished through Contract No. 2. 2. Only HDPE pipeline will be furnished through Contract No. 2, all pipeline fittings, associated appurtenances, prefabricated vault, etc. will be provided Contract No. 3 Contractor.
