District will receive Bids in two opaque sealed envelopes or other packages labeled Envelope "A" and Envelope "B," each containing the respective items described in paragraphs 4 and 5 below. All Bid envelopes will be time stamped to reflect their submittal time.Envelope "A" shall be due by 3:00 p.m., local time, August 8, 2023 and Envelope "B" shall be due by 3:00 p.m., local time, August 10, 2023 The work shall consist of slope and shoreline stabilization including grading and clearing trees and shrubs for placement of rock slope protection and slope restoration. Bidding Documents contain the full description of the Work. A California Classification A contractors license is required. The project is a public works project subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). To be qualified for this project, acontractor must be registered with the DIR In addition, pursuant to prevailing wage laws, copies of the prevailing wage rates are on file at the Districts principal office and are available on request. Contractor shall submit a comprehensive written Health and Safety Plan (HSP) as specified herein within 10 days from the Notice of Award. The Health and Safety Plan required to be submitted herein must be favorably reviewed by District prior to Contractor starting Work. CONTRACT TIME. Work shall be finally completed within 90 calendar Days from the date when Contract Time commences to run Engineers Estimate is $291,000.
