Airport Gate 16 Taxiway Repairs

Project No. 21-0249 : The Work comprises of consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract documents. Please refer to Exhibit A Site Plan in the Appendix for limits of work to be performed. The general items of work include, but may not be limited to, removal of existing asphalt, unclassified excavation, unclassified fill, subgrade preparation, installation of hot mix asphalt pavement surface and base course (P-403), and all other work required. The work shall be diligently prosecuted to completion before the expiration of: 30 working days. BID SECURITY: each bid shall be accompanied by proof of a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price payable to the City of Palm Springs. RETAINAGE FROM PAYMENTS: The Contractor may elect to receive 100 percent of payments due under the Contract Documents from time to time, without retention of any portion of the payment by the City, by depositing securities of equivalent value with the City in accordance with the provisions of Section 22300 of the Public Contract Code. Questions submitted after 3:00pm on May 9, 2022, will not be accepted.
