Description | his is a combined synopsis/solicitation for pavement survey services in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Submission of quotes must be inaccordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to offerors, commercial items. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses in effect are IAW Federal AcquisitionCircular (FAC) 2022-06, Defense Acquisition Circular Number 20220623 and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2022-0502. This acquisition is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors. The applicable small business sizestandard is $ 16.5 million dollars. The Contractor shall be responsible for all professional services, permits, equipment, labor, tools, materials, and ancillary items necessary to complete the tasks defined by the SOW. The performed tasks shall be based on the project description, other data furnished in this SOW, and information covered during a pre-performance/criteria review meeting to be held prior to Contractor mobilization. The project intent is to perform existing condition assessment surveys of various pavements across Tyndall AFB. The survey report shall document the pavement thickness, number of lifts, base type , thickness, sub-grade visual classification, groundwater table depth (if encountered), core pictures, rehabilitation recommendation, and core/boring location in GPS and Military Grid Reference (MGRS) coordinates. In addition to the survey report format, the information is to be provided in excel spreadsheet format. Collected data will be presented in boring logs with a Core/Boring Location Map. Core samples will be delivered to the 325th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES). ALL Vendors that are interested in a site visit should submit an email which includes attendees first and last name, social security number, drivers license number, and drivers license state of issue to SrA Frances Montgomery at frances.montgomery@us.af.mil no later than 08 Feb 2023 at 04:00 PM Central Standard Time. The site visit will be held on 13 Feb 2023 at 09:00 AM Central Standard Time. Please be at the visitor's center by 08:30 AM Central Standard Time the day of the site visit. All questions are due no later than 16 Feb 2023 at 1:00 PM Central Standard Time and quotes shall be submitted via email no later than 28 Feb 2023 at 04:00 PM Central Standard Time to diana.roberts.1@us.af.mil and frances.montgomery@us.af.mil.
