Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements - Phase 2 - UV (Ultraviolet) Disinfection - Contract No. 2: Electrical Construction

The Project consists of upgrades to the existing Village of LeRoy Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 7500 Red Mill Road, along New York State Route 19 (Lake Street Road) LeRoy, NY 14482. This project will be bid in two (2) contracts: Contract No. 1: General Construction involves concrete modifications and installation of a new UV Disinfection system in the existing chlorine contact tank, the construction of a metal sided pole barn building on top of the chlorine contact tank, and construction of a steel platform to the existing steel staircase. The work also includes sitework including piping modifications and expansion, surface restoration, etc. Contract No. 2: Electrical Construction consists of all electrical power connections including the installation of electric conduit, panels, disconnects and wiring for all new process equipment, and lighting systems serving the new treatment components. If necessary, an Addendum will be issued by 5:00 p.m. (Local Time) on April 8, 2022, from the office of the Engineer. Statement of Non-Collusion: Bidders on the contract are required to execute a non-collusive bidding certificate pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. Security for Faithful Performance: Sales and Use of Tax Exemptions: The Village of LeRoy is exempt from the payment of sales and compensation use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and counties on all materials, equipment, and supplies sold to the Village of LeRoy pursuant to this contract. Also exempt from such taxes are purchases by the Contractor and his Subcontractors of materials, equipment, and supplies to be sold to the Village of LeRoy pursuant to this contract, including tangible personal property to be incorporated in any structure, building, or other real property forming part of the project. These taxes are not to be included in the Bid. All bids shall be binding for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The Village of LeRoy reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
