Description

To Expand and Remodel the Existing Sheriff's Office The Building we are residing in was labeled as a temporary office when we moved in to it in May 2008. We almost filled the building when we moved in. Now almost 14 years later, the building is showing wear. We have made small renovations to continue to make the building suit our needs; however, to get us into the future and without funding or desire to create us a new complex, we are requesting an expansion and remodel. Project is included in the Jefferson County's FY 2023-2027 CIP. As of October 4, 2022, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Funding is anticipated in FY2023/2024.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
