Description

A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZone, 8A, Woman-Owned Small Business or Service Disaqbled Veteran Owned Business and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately, The proposed project is a design build requirement. AFLCMC acquisition missions at Wright Patterson AFB, OH requires Design/Build construction of a 67,000 SF infrastructure placement and leased temporary modular facilities with workspace/cubical capacity for approximately 500 personnel. Approximately 1/2 of these facilities must meet special Access Program (SAP), IT, and additional security requirements. The project will include one (1) base year plus four (4) one-year options for a total five (5) years lease of the constructed modular facilities. This project requires structural foundations, site work, accessible parking, roadways and curbs, landscaping, signage, lighting, and all associated utilities. Work includes Government-furnished, Contractor-installed equipment, access control and intrusion detection systems. Contract duration is estimated at 300 calendar days. The estimated cost range is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00, NAICS code is 236220, All interested Small Businesses, certified HUBZONE, 8A, Woman-Owned Small Businesses or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should respond to thsi survey by email on 07 April 2019 by 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Responses Should include: 1.Identification and verification of the company's small business status. 2. Contractor's Unique Identifier Number and CAGE Codes(s). 3. Documentation from the firm's bonding company showing current single and aggregate performance and payment bond limits. 4. Descriptions of Experience - Provide descriptions of your firm's past experience on projects with greater than 90% construction complete or those projects completed within the last seven (7) years which are similar to this project in size and scope. Provide documentation demonstrating DB experience for temporary facilities and Allied Support (to include foundations, mounting slabs, site preparation, utility connections, stairways, porches or breezeways between units, extra wall covering and paneling, ceramic works, lighting and other interior and exterior finishes and features) of similar type projects involving management of multiple sub-contractors. a. Projects considered similar in scope to this project include but are not limited to: Construction, operation, and maintenance of modular office/administrative facilities with workspace/cubicle capacity. The description should include construction experience demonstrating the ability to provide infrastructure work including site preparation, foundation work, utility connection, electrical, water and sewer systems. Constructed facilities should also demonstrate ICD/ICS 705 compliance. b. Projects similar in size will include: Construction of 45,000 SF infrastructure placement of temporary modular facilities. c. Base on the definitions above, for each project submitted, include: Current percentage of construction complete and the date when it was or will be completed. Scope of the project. Please make sure you discuss experience in the following four areas if applicable. Size of the project (combined building SF, acres of construction site work, etc.) The portion and percentage of work that was self-performed. Describe the work your company self-performed.
