The overall project is the abatement of all Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) in the specifications for the Katheryn Bellfield/Booker Washington Cultural Arts Center, owned by the City of Columbia, located in Columbia, South Carolina. 1. A limited asbestos survey was conducted on October 26, 2022, to determine whether there were Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) and if so, what is the identity, location, condition and quantities of ACM in the interior and exterior building components. 2. The selected contractor is expected to remove the Asbestos Containing Material that is identified in the asbestos survey, which will be made available for reference. Location: The work contained in this solicitation will be performed at 2611 Grant Street, Columbia, South Carolina. |
