Description

Contract work is located in Lower Fish Creek in Carbon County, Utah and is approximately 20 miles northwest of Helper, Utah. The project area for this contract totals approx. 31.5 acres, divided into three treatment areas. The work location is shown on the general location and site maps. Elevations range from 7450 feet to 8500 feet. The 31.5 acres to be treated consist primarily of Douglas fir, blue spruce and aspen, with scattered Ponderosa pine, white fir, pinyon pine, and juniper. Blue spruce predominates at the lowest elevations of the treatment area. Limber pine may be encountered as well.
