Description | SCOPE OF WORK Work to include demo of existing boilers and replacement of new boilers per design plans in Attachment A, which will be available for viewing on the website June 2, 2023. DEMO: 1. Remove existing boilers b-1 & b-2. Demolish all piping & ductwork necessary for removal of equipment. Cap piping and ductwork, prepare for reconnection to new boilers. Existing concrete housekeeping pads to remain. 2. Remove existing boiler combustion air intakes & exhaust flues, patch & repair existing roof penetration. 3. Remove existing pumps p-1 & p-2, with existing hosekeeping pads, all piping, valves & accessories to be Replaced. Modify piping as required for reconnection to new pumps. Existing VFD located on p-1 to remain. 4. Existing pump controls to remain. 5. Existing WH flue to be demolished. Patch & repair intake plenum as required. INSTALL: 1. Locate new boilers b-1 & b-2 on existing concrete pads. Route condensate to existing drain located between concrete pads. Provide new fuse disconnects for boilers. 2. Route 10"o boiler exhaust flues up to existing roof penetrations, provide roof terminations & flashing per manufacturer's instructions. Exhaust flues to be polypropylene centrotherm innoflue SW Chimney System. 3. Connect new 2"G to existing 2"G. 4. Connect new pumps p-1 & p-2 to new piping. Existing pump controls & VFD to remain. 5. Existing combustion air intake serving boilers & water heaters to remain. Modify as required by boiler manufacturer's instructions to maintain necessary air flow for all equipment. BOILER REPLACEMENT: o Furnish and install (2) Riello AR 3000 boilers in place of existing units. Boiler-1 & Boiler-2: o (2) Riello Array Model AR 3000, 316L SS Condensing Boilers, 3000 MBH Input, Modular Design w/ Built-in Redundancy, ASME Stamped for 80 PSI, 96.1% efficient, 30:1 turndown, Natural Gas, CSD1 & FM Approval, 230/3/60, (17.2 FLA) o Included with each boiler: Boiler pump per module (mounted and wired), Boiler operating control with 7" touch screen, Boiler cascading feature (up to eight boilers), LWCO (manual reset), Low and high pressure switches, Header temperature sensor, boiler flow meters, High limit (manual reset), condensate switch, Air flow switch, stack temperature sensor. o (2) 4" flanged Strainer, 125# ANSI flanged o (1) Header Temperature Sensor Kit Question Deadline 06/12/2023 Refer all questions in writing to: Randy Barnes, Operations Supervisor Camas School District 117 Randy.Barnes@camas.wednet.edu Camas School District Bid Site All questions and answers will be posted at |
