Description | 1. Riverwalk (SJ. 7): Scope of work consists of construction along the public walkway adjacent to the St. Lawrence River including the reconstruction of two portions of the Riverwalk to a higher elevation. Construction of structural improvements at the corner adjacent to DiPrinzio’s Kitchen, including new sheet piling two feet waterward of existing sheet piling, install 6-inch diameter concrete-filled anchor pipe piles, light stone fill, new subbase and concrete to raise the Riverwalk in this area by approximately 1.5 feet. Construction of structural improvements at the corner adjacent to Attilio’s Pizza, including cutting existing sheet piling and timber piles, install new sheet piling one foot waterward of existing timber piling, install 6-inch diameter concrete-filled anchor pipe piles, light stone fill, new subbase and concrete to raise Riverwalk in this area by approximately 1 foot. 2. Docks at Mary Street (SJ. 111): Reconstruction of the Main Dock, Boat Launch Dock and Boat Launch Ramp located in the St. Lawrence River at the western end of Mary Street. Main Dock at Mary Street - Reconstruction of the Main Dock within its existing footprint (~520’ long; 10’ wide), including remove existing timber superstructure and facade and remove existing dock accessories (lighting, fire extinguishers, cleats, benches, bollards, etc.), cut existing timber piles at the mud line, install forty-two (42) new steel H-piles, ten (10) new 8-inch diameter concrete-filled steel pipe piles, install new deck to the same elevation as existing, install new lighting, benches, cleats, and other accessories. Boat Launch Dock at Mary Street – Reconstruction of the Boat Launch Dock within a similar footprint (~80’ long; width varies from 4’ to 8’), including remove existing timber superstructure and facade, cut existing timber piles at the mud line, |
