Road Material

Items shall be bid FOB plant to be picked up by the Township trucks. The Township reserves the right to obtain the material from the same source regardless of the price bid. Bids may be made on bidder's letterhead or standard bid forms. Bidders are not required to bid on each item listed. Bids shall be accompanied by Non-Collusion Affidavit, Stockholders Disclosure Statement, Affirmative Action Statement and New Jersey Business Registration Certificate as required by law. Contract Period - One Year June 20, 2022 - July 19, 2023 Contract Period - Two Years June 20, 2022 - July 19, 2024 All materials shall comply with the N.J.D.O.T. Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction dated 2007 with the latest supplements. All bid prices shall be subject to an asphalt price adjustment pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-16d. The Township estimates using 1000 tons +/-. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and to award the contracts in the best interest of the Township. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes in or before the time of the opening. Envelopes shall show the item or items being bid on the outside.
